About Tracy Rich
My goal is to help parents nurture compassion through developing parenting and life skills, to help parents feel great about the amazing and challenging job of parenting, and to deepen parents' awareness of their children's unique qualities and needs. I have an optimistic, expansive view of life and parenting and listen to each individual's story with an open mind.
I am a parent educator, drawing on over thirty years of experience working with families. I am currently a Visiting Mom with the Center for Early Relationship Support/JF&CS and am also an educator, homeschool parent, and adoptive parent. In addition, I worked for ten years as a daycare provider and postpartum doula, have two daughters (ages 16 and 21) and have worked extensively with new and experienced parents helping to articulate both practical and philosophical parenting tips. I use a combination of therapeutic conversation/listening, spiritual attention, common sense, and resource development to build compassionate relationships between parent and child.
For more information about philosophy and fees, please contact me via the contact page.
I look forward to meeting you and your family!
